What needs to be done to make Big-12 desirable?

The thing is: Can the strength of Texas and OU alone build (not rebuild) a conference that could equal the SEC, B1G, PAC or ACC?

With the schools available, the answer is "no."

It is time for Texas and OU, together or separately, to find an adequate "fit" and go fit there.

I wish we had a chance at Fla. State. We would get into a big, new TV market and the Fla./Tx. recruiting trade off would be fair. Lots of talent in both places. Maybe even Ga. Tech or a Virginia or Carolina school.
