What is the best beer???

Chimay White? Delicious. Chimay Blue? Superlative!

However, I recently tried some Fuller's Vintage Ale (2005)... wow. Aroma unlike any I've ever smelled from a beer. Strong fruit smell, almost cherry. Seriously great beer. (expensive, though)

But I heard recently that Fuller's only makes one beer, their ESB, and then only adds flavor and color to that beer to get all the rest of their beers. I know that Shiner does it, teh intratubes told me so.

One of my favorites is Leffe Brune. I pretty much drank it daily while I was living in Belgium.

You can find Leffe Blonde just about anywhere, and it's a decent beer, but unfortunately Leffe Brune is pretty rare in the USA.

Shiner Black is a new favorite of mine, but Bock is my go-to beer.

But since I'm an IPA man I'm gonna have to go to Lagunitas IPA. I also love me some Sierra Nevada Pale Ale as well as the Porter.

Miller Lite. But I've began to drink beer mostly outside fishing or sitting in the sun otherwise on a lake or beach. It might just be me, but having those heavy dark beers while outdoors in the Texas sun sounds disgusting to me.

When I'm inside or at a bar I'd rather have a crown and coke or 7&7.

From what I gather it's not too popular around here, but I have yet to find a beer I like as much as Sam Adams Black Lager.

KaiserSoze-- I had a couple of the Nocturnum at Flying Saucer last week. Very tasty indeed. I didn't know they had the Leffe Brune, but next time I'm there I know what I'm drinking!

I think the Sam Adam's Black is good. In fact, I like most of the Sam Adams lineup, outside of their flagship beer, the Boston Lager, which I really don't care for at all.
