What a ride this past few weeks.

Despite the pain from the loss tonight, it was a great ride seeing the TEAM play hard and making the plays to get as far as they did after the late regular season struggles.

No moral victories, plenty of pain, but still it was great to see the deep run after the last two years previous of not even sniffing post season. Go have a great summer guys to get ready to finish the job next year.

I've never felt better after a loss. we have a enough arms and bats on campus now to be considered serious contenders in conference and a top 8 national seed next year.

Skip has cemented himself as Augie's successor and the future looks bright.

Nathan and Mark fulfilled their purpose as far as I am concerned.

They helped established Texas back where they belonged tonight.

I explained to my 16-yr old daughter how the game is played, that it's a game of percentages. You really don't know what's going to happen when the pitch is made, and you have to live with a lot of possibilities that unfold after that.

It takes a lot to get to the edge of the championship series, but if you get there often enough, you take home the banner now and then.

She (my daughter) and I will be a lot of the games next season. She's hooked!! (how's that for a spin on words!).

Congrats for a special season, Longhorns!!

Thanks for a great season of baseball. UT baseball is back and in a huge way. Couldn't be prouder to be a UT baseball fan. YOU all have the hearts of champions.

Have to admit it was completely unexpected given the mid season collapse and the experience of the last two years. This team really came up big late and overachieved just getting to Omaha let alone winning three games and making the national semi finals.

Great season, tremendous pitching. But, it looked to me like Vandy had the best 4 to 6 hitters in the game. A lot of ropes hit for outs as well as base hits. Their guys looked big next and more ready for the next level. Our guys looked very young compared to them.

As I said before I was so excited that I was NOT getting refund on my super regional tickets this year. I considered every game after the Opening game in the Rice tournament a blessing. This team was extremely special. Zork knows first hand the pain these guys are going through and my heart goes out to them. They gave it their all but most importantly gave up themselves for each other. It was special to watch and hopefully come September they will be able to smile and understand what they did win

it is a long time since I was a player but I don't see any reason for pain-------it was a great, gritty run that surpassed any reasonable expectation. The team played outstanding ball in the conference tourney and then this amazing run afterwards that got them to the cusp.

I would be busting with pride at the ambitious, aggressive run. Come to think of it, I am busting with pride for them.

Great season guys; you will cherish this the rest of your lives.
