Weird Stat - Question Texas vs Houston

Thanks to my buddy who called me at the last minute stating he had an extra ticket. It was pretty hot but we had great seats behind home plate.

During the game, I didn't think Texas struck out any Houston batters and the box score confirmed it. You pitch a shutout yet you don't strike anyone out. Weird.

My question is when Anderson went out to visit his pitcher in the 4th the first time, on the way back in to the dugout he turned and starting screaming at the ump. Does anyone know why? Being in sec 106, we had a great view of the umps calls and he was inconsistent both ways.

Great win by the Horns! Glad to be going back to our home away from home!

Mark Payton had just walked on an inside breaking pitch that the UH coaches felt was a strike. He was riding the ump about it (as did the head coach). A few batters later they got the call.
