Week 4 Prediction Thread...I Like My Tortilla Burnt, Texas vs Tech

Waylon came from Shallowater, I think.

Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys were from Turkey.

Roy Orbison was from somewhere up there.

These places are not the City of Lubbock, but are well within the orbit of the Hub City.

We’ll still beat them on Saturday.

Stubbs barbecue left Lubbock

so did I but I still love the place

I would get up in the cool morning and go outside……and smell the money from the feedlots surrounding the town

for a rural kid from south Texas living in a big town in the middle of the world’s largest cotton patch it was a bracing experience. And after five years in Austintacious it was a relief

Hook ‘em

I think that Texas will build upon the results from last week and Casey will continue to grow as QB1. The defense will give up some points but make key plays when needed.

Texas - 48
Burnt Tortillas - 37

Chop,

Comparing or pairing Doug Sahm with Charles Harden Holley is sacrilege in most parts, particularly the music world, and may be a capital offense in several.

To my knowledge, Sahm made no revolutionary changes in music, while Buddy Holly revolutionized every part of the music and recording industry.

I could not disagree more.

I am working this morning and not sure when I will get off, hopefully before the game starts but I will get the predictions posted as soon as I can.
