It would have been a 31-23 win with mensa.TH didn’t kick *** like this. We can win a lot of games with Thompson at QB!
Hey, winning is hard. Winning big is harder. It would have been a 31-23 win with mensa.
I expect us to play well at home against Tech, but I don’t see us putting up 300 rushing and all of a sudden road-grading everything in front of us. I hope I’m wrong.
I'll be there too. Sitting upper deck though.I will be @ Amon G. Carter stadium vs. TCU that Sat. with 3 other serious HF !!!
Loved that Gary Clark, Jr feature but where was the Rice band? I always enjoyed seeing the MOB.Fun to be at the game. Fun environment. Lots of highlight reel runs. Plus, they played Gary Clark Jr.’s ACL live performance for about 15 minutes. It was sweet.
Speaking of El Patio, earlier today I ate there—and I hesitate to mention this—for the first time ever. Thought I had better patronize them before they threaten to go out of business again.I wanna be featured in one of those Longhorns Legends spots.
'George Bailey. He spent almost as much time in El Patio and Hole in the Wall as he did in class. Made friends with the dudes that sold beads north of the Co-op. George Bailey, he's a Longhorn Legend.'
Roshon got hit at the line and made his long runWe had some backs really want it tonight. That and a line opening just enough holes makes for a good day on the rushing farm! Casey managed the offense very effectively. Tech will be a different test. With a genuine effort by the whole team we can win, but that’s what it will take because our defense is not going to shut them out.
It was 30-0 before the first touchdown pass. 427 yards rushing vs 193 in the air? Casey didn’t orchestrate this victory. Glad for him to get a start. NOW, if he goes out and dismantles Tech that’ll be a start, but TCU/Oklahoma/OK State three games in a row will show where the rubber meets the road…What game are you watching? Thompson was 14 for 17, had a pick because he was hit, and one of the other two misses was going to be a TD if Worthy isn’t tripped.
Until he isn’t, Thompson is that good. I expected the excuses. “Colorado wasn’t that good. Arkansas didn’t care late in the game last weekend. This is Rice.” Baloney. This guy is that good. Just watch.
One of Bijans touchdowns near the goal line reminded me of his high school highlights. Rice is not a good football team. Tech will tackle better next week, so our offensive line and running back play will be a more accurately tested.Roshon got hit at the line and made his long run
HC was smiling every time I saw him out there. I think he’s fine.Surprised we aren't letting Card throw a few more to get some confidence.
I will look in to tickets for that game. Love theI'll be there too. Sitting upper deck though.
The failure to play lights out for an entire game has been a problem for the last decade.TH didn’t kick *** like this. We can win a lot of games with Thompson at QB!

Possibly the greatest kicker hair since Nick Rose.
if we could have run like that against piggie, Hudson would still be the starter.
This is correct. It was 30-0 before the first touchdown pass. 427 yards rushing vs 193 in the air? Casey didn’t orchestrate this victory. Glad for him to get a start.
