Casey has that confidence spark in big time situations. I don't know what he would have been doing "wrong" to not be named the starter for Game 1, but if this game doesn't settle it, then there's definitely something in the water.

I think the QB job should be Casey's until he does something to clearly show he should not have it. He is easily our best QB right now.

So I dunno how to feel about that first half - I mean Rice is not good but they’re also not 44-0 at half bad. Right now they’re playing without an offense, and I suspect they’re demoralized and worn out. But Texas is definitely more dialed in tonight, and the o-line has… well they are getting out of Bijan’s way nicely.
