Week 2 Weekly Prediction...Who You Got? Texas vs Arkansas

They're always up for us and it's at their place. The 2014 Texas Bowl is still pretty fresh in my memory as a game that in many ways was worse than Rout 66. We have better coaching and are a better team than that one was but I'm not expecting a cakewalk here.

Their qb struggled a little in game 1 and there is quite a bit of chatter/doubts about him around Fayetteville.
Also worth noting is their coach misidentified 2 of our stars in his presser.....so....maybe they wont be as prepared as The Sark??

Plus their staring LB - Bumper Pool was flagged for targeting a Rice player and will be out of the lineup the first half of the UT game....
 
Lots of discussion on this one that has me pondering...tickets are coming in one-sided with respect to handle, which is what is driving the line to between 7.5 and 8 right now after having opened around 6.

I didn't watch Rice and piggie but it sounds like piggie basically kicked the GMAT out of those MOB-backed kids even if the first half of the game didn't bear it out on the scoreboard.

I suspect Sark has held back some of his playbook and will continue to hold some out until RRS rolls around. I would guess piggie did likewise, although probably more that they were intending on behind able to manhandle the eggheads.

Game is in Fayettenam, which has not always been receptive to the educated kind.

I'm thinking this will be close for three quarters before a big play from Texas to make the game look easier than it really was.

I'm calling this one 33-21 in favor of the good guys...Dicker gets a workout with four field goals on the game.

Rice was in the game until late in fourth quarter. Hogs coach pushed for a worthless TD rather than run out the clock. WHEE! He covered, and showed his classless *** while doing it. DKR covered 29 out of our 30 game winning streak, but never did anything that ****** to cover.

My line opened at -4.5 and quickly jumped to -6.5, where it stayed this afternoon.

The move to 7.5 and 8 was discussed in the past hour on VSIN. Not sure if it was online or over the counter in Vegas.

Having a hard time figuring out my prediction for this game. Is Arkie any good? Is Texas' defense as advertised?

I'm going 31 Texas-
21 Pigs.
Texas gets down early and realizes they are just better than the Pigs.
 
Horns 45-20, but it's not even that close. Pigs score a TD late in garbage time. We gonna rub their face in the slop and make 'em like it.
