We travel to Arkansas to take on an old SWC rival. I hope Sark prepares the team properly on how much their fans hates us which drives the players to play above their level.

Horns open as a 16.5 pt favorite. For crying out loud, Arky lost to Oklahoma State. I want a repeat of this weekend.

Sark was coach the last time we went up there and got pasted. I fully expect Sark to have the team ready and not overlooking the hillbillies. I’m also glad this is an early game. I would be a lot more worried if it was a night game.

I need some of what you guys are smoking. I see a real dogfight. Arkansas might have even more intensity than Georgia did when they played us. I'm glad the game is at 11:00. I've seen us drop too many duds up in the Ozarks. But.........

Ark 21

I'm very concerned about this game. pigs have had 2 weeks to prepare for us.

After 2021 @ FayetteNam, Sark now gets IT about the hawgs. Unlike 2021, perhaps THIS team shows up and focused on WINNING in a very hostile environment.

Yes, Okie St beat Arkansas in overtime; but then Arkansas beat Tennessee. Both Hog QB’s are talented, and Taylen Green is a Defcon 5 running threat. If he is healthy it could be a real nail biter.
Arkansas will be rabid and prepared. I won’t say we’re Doomed, but this game could be close.
Our guys, especially the O line better be ready for a tough, physical game.

Three keys, no turnovers that give short fields, keep offensive line brain farts to a minimum, and stopping the run especially their QB.

Unless Texas gifts them points its hard to see Arkansas scoring more than 20-24. If Texas doesnt turn the ball over or kill drive by OL foolishness and if the defense continues to step up this should be a solid road win.

Time to crush pig. For those going, these are the worst fans ever. Little Rock is worse than Fayetteville. Watch out for ice and empty whiskey bottles being thrown. They are actually worse if they win than if they lose. My prediction is for our fans as pig will clear out in the fourth quarter.

Fortunately for us Anthony Hill is a Defcon 6 threat.

Does going in to this feel gross to anyone else?
its one thing to have a home and away with these inbreeders. It's another to know we're gong to be linked by conference affiliation going forward.
Kind of like marrying in to a clan of people who have tails, or 6 fingers.

Arkansas is an unpredictable team. They beat Tennessee at home get a week off and lose big to lsu at home. They blow out ms st on road and the get blown out by ole miss at home. They play aggy even on a neutral field. Who knows what team will show up but you would think they will be ready for Texas. As long as we show up and execute well they can’t hang. Need to control their qb and not turn it over.

Their hatred for the Longhorns will give them intensity and focus.. Close game for most of the time, but Horns will pull away in the 4th quarter.

What chance do we have of matching or exceeding their intensity?

Poms,What has happened to your orange Kool-Aid? I miss that optimism.

Hate to admit it...scared of those good running qb's and the pig's intensity.
PK will have his work cut out for him and we will have to tackle well to win this game.
On a positive note, i, too, am happy this is an 11:00 game.
