I always think Texas is going to win, so it is hard for me not to pick them not to win.

My Horns - 38

The Hawks - 23

View from Vegas is Texas giving 29.5, with Texas being -7500 on the money line. Kansas is +2500. In other words, the numbers suggest even Texas cannot screw this one up...

HOWEVER...sweats with these numbers can still occur, as we saw with some Wednesday night action the other night. Western Michigan was spotting 26.5 and was -4500 while Akron was +1500. Final was 45-40, so no cover but at least no upset on the money line. Clemson, however, is -45000 against Connecticut and giving 40 points. UConn is +15000, so they are viewed as twice as hopeless as Kansas LOL!

OddsTrader predicts this as 61-15, which is beyond the expected spread. Weather seems to be decent with temps around 70 at kick and no rain...cooling as the sun goes down.

Of course, the above is purely for educational purposes.

On to the pick...

I think we have enough remaining discord on the roster and we still have not shown that we can make adjustments at the half while simultaneously making SOMEONE across the line always seem all-world.

IF they let Bijan eat, he should have 250 total yards and three TDs's on the day. After all, Kansas cannot seem to stop a running nose. How are they going to stop Bijan unless nobody gets him the ball?

Kansas did get up against the land thieves before collapsing late and I sure as hell hope that game has been shown at least once in the film room.

Texas: 54
Kansas: 27

Line is down to 29.5... If I had to bet against us, I'm almost certain this is the moment I could make some serious cash.
Points are not where you get rich though...that is probably going to be the standard -110. A little less than doubling of the bet...

That being said...a lot of spread bets can make for nice little parlays. I've had some very nice weekends running six and eight leg parlays. Even with the higher juice on those, the parlay cards can pay back a nice chunk of change even if they aren't truly the 'smart' thing to do.

I like to split 2s.
