Week 10 Prediction Thread: Texas vs. Kansas St...Here Kitty Kitty

Ksu is a well prepared team and accustomed to playing in big games on a big stage.
Ksu runs a very unusual offense. Part single wing, running their QB more than just about anyone else. And throwing enough to keep defenses guessing and off balance.
They have scored 41 against each of their last two opponents.
Their defense allows about 15.85 points per game. About the same as ours allows.

Coach K has to scheme a smart disciplined plan to keep them below 25 points. I'm thinking Coach K's defense, as good as it has been against the run, will win the day.

I don’t think our offense will score over 25. Malik is inexperienced and ksu will throw any and everything at him to confuse him and create turnovers.

I could care less about how it looks, I just want the Horns to come out on TOP.

at one time before the season started I picked KS to beat us this game and then we would beat them in the CCG. I am not sure if I stuck with that though cause I had second thoughts.

I think they have our number this game. It's going to look like they are playing with 12 or 13 defenders. We need Ewers to win this game and even then it would be tough.
Seems like we are going to have to go man to man to stop their run game since their QB runs alot. We do pretty well against the run but they hit some big plays thru the air.
Murphy will be rattled. lots of punts this game. Thank goodness we have a very good punter. We are held way below season point average and Sark will throw his headset to the ground and eventually get kicked out of the game. This will be an ugly game for us and hornfans will be filled with negative posts dripping with angst.

I might stay off HF for awhile.
With my recent reporting of a two week no TD against the UT defense along with my misinformation about Nebraska playing Michigan this weekend, Im considering coming out of retirement to get back to being a sales director.

That 1998 game in the Little Apple with Major and Ricky was painful... 48-7. Think the Katz beat aggy for conference crown that year.

Highlights from last year’s 34-27 Texas win in Manhattan.
6-2 KSU came in ranked #13, 5-3 Horns were #24.
Good road win against a good KSU team.

I hope a combination of their blowout of uh and our struggle in that game softens them up a bit. Their defense is giving up an avg of 235 yds passing a game, total yds 344. Hopefully our big bodied guys up front can take advantage of their light DEs and LBs.

This game is more on Sark than the others.

If I were you, I'd stay retired. I bet your Salesforce log-in doesn't work anymore anyway. :smile1:

If we go for it more than once on 4th down and/or try a fake field goal, we will lose this game. If Sark pulls his head out, Texas should win 28-17.

If Texas can control with long drives of running the ball and Murphy can hold down the interceptions they win. He threw it up for grabs and off of his back foot too much last game and that will spell interception if he does it again. I give it to Texas because I am a homer.

This is a big game for maalik. We need some key 3rd down conversions and a deep ball or two to get the secondary away off the LOS

Big week coming up and probably our toughest matchup for the remaining regular season.

Don't ever hit an animal. Especially one that can mess you up. That child learned a valuable lesson.

I thought the cat eased up there.

That being said,

Horns: 30
No longer Snyder's wildcats: 20
