I was thinking about this earlier. I guess Friday's game got out of hand before he could get to Boehm. Gage was up in the bullpen but i think once it got out of reach, Pierce just decided to save him.

IMHO, O’Hara and Lummus have been underutilized. They’re both just now starting to get a lot of innings. And they’re both doing pretty well.

That catch by Belyeu is reminiscent of A.D. Mitchell’s falling down catch on third and forever late in the game - also against TCU. Both incredible plays!
