We Will Lose To BU

KSU was picked to win the Big XII this year, they are damned good, and on a roll right now. Quit worring about Baylor, and eat a bowl of focusness.
Our defense has been lacking the last three games, except in spurts. We have to regain that shutdown defense, or we won't be going far this year. If we can, we will be alright.

I like J'Covan Brown, but I don't know what to make of the fact that his two best games recently have been the losses.

His conference scoring stats are:
TT 6 points
OU 4
A&M 8
KU 23
OSU 3
Mizz 7
A&M 8
Tech 10
OU 1
Baylor 11
OK St 4
Neb 18
Iowa St 7
CU 21

KU is the anomoly, (we don't win without him), but other than that his best games have been the CU loss, the Neb loss, the tough Baylor win, and a lackluster TT win.

This team runs best when the offense goes through Hamilton, Gary Johnson, and Tristan Thompson.

When they aren't getting touches in the flow of the offense and we resort to 1 on 1 crap, we get Saturday.

We will not lose at home to ksu. Hamilton was just off a bit on Saturday & CU played over their head & shot lights out. Burks is an NBA talent & just went off. Sometimes these things happen with stars like that, but this season is far from over. The guys will rebound from the loss on Saturday & gut out the victory.

The Horns may very well "gut out the victory", as they should, but I certainly won't feel comfortable with a twenty-something point lead in the first half.

TexasGolf speaks the truth. Told my wife the exact same thing (+ a KSU loss) during the 2nd half of the CU game.

losing two more in a row should put us down to about a 4 seed, imo.
(I think we're a 3 seed if the bleeding stops now)
don't know if you can fall much faster than that.

we will finish the year with about as many losses as Aggy.

OK, crow does not taste good. This team did not gut out a victory....they squandered away another one after letting a team continue to hang around.

Too many guys coming over to help another guy on defense & then leaving someone wide open. We need more man-to-man & less help. If you get beat, you come out or we make a switch & let someone else guard them.

On offense, this team goes as Jordan goes. His shot is not falling the last several games. Since he takes so many shots in the scheme of our offense, we fail more often. It's time to let him take a break from carrying the team on the outside & let J'covan actually have plays run for him coming off screens & picks. His shot is falling right now. Barnes needs to realize this & adjust. He just can't let JHam keep shooting & keep running the offense through him. Good coaching adjusts so let's see if something changes at Baylor.

I hope this team can find a spark...something. a win against baylor in waco would be like winning two games at this point. gameday will be in waco

Rex Kramer do you still stand by that 3 seed proclamation? We are closer to a 5 seed given the game last night and a likely loss to Baylor, 2nd out right in conference, etc. Last 10 game record is a key index used by the NCAA selection committee, and Texas is losing at the worst time possible therefore. Doesn't matter. Unless Hamilton finds his shot, there will be no 2nd weekend for sure.

I'd like my crow fried please. WHY

would I pick the Horns to beat KSU at anything???? PLEASE let me be right about winning @ Baylor. Texas has got to stop this slide...

hmm, didn't know about not using last 10 anymore. That changes my opinion. I'm thinking lose to Baylor, win one game in conference tourney, get a 4 seed. If you count last 10, I'm thinking 5 seed.

Keep in mind a bunch of teams are gonna lose as well. In fact, almost every team will lose at least one game, except for the conference champions.

So, 4 seed, we get a 13, win, face a decent team, what about a 5 seed, then we lose.
