Bummer we lost and leaves a bad taste in the mouth for sure! Well, time to go enjoy Austin on a lovely Saturday night. The weather is gorgeous, y'all. Have a good weekend and here's to some more recruits to start coming in and maybe a Baseball win again tonight.

This team will go as far as their team play will take them. Every time they quit playing team offense and start playing one-on-one basketball they crater.

KSU and BU are possible losses and a loss in the Big 12 tourney. Finish with 6 to 8 losses at this point. Hoping for a 3 seed in the NCAAs

2 game lead in Big 12 to win Championship with two weeks remaining then you lay an egg twice, I am thinking Big 12 championships mean nothing to Texas in basketball because they cannot win one. Team that played 40 minutes today and last Saturday won.

If Texas ends the year losing to Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas State, and Baylor (with a win over ISU in there)- then 3 seed is wishful thinking. Another Rick Barnes team peaked early as far as I can tell. A lot of fans seemed to think we were going 16-0 since we won at Kansas. The team evidently bought in to the same thoughts. I knew there was a lot of work to be done. Let's hope for a split versus KS and BU- and for a Mizzu win over the Hawks for a co-championship and 3 seed.

This "team" is not worthy of that term right now, and is a dysfunctional mess. Less than the sum of its parts.

I hope this is not a repeat of last year, but if it is, I have to question seriously the man at the top and wonder why this keeps happening on his watch. How is it we keep having players who are playing for themselves and not for the team on the jersey?

Frankly, if Jordan and J'Covan have developed "me first" attitudes, I'd sit their butts down. I'd rather lose without them than win with them.

Also, the team as a whole has developed a front-runner mentality. We seem to forget the other guys might play 40 minutes and won't just give up because they spotted us a big lead early.

Here we go again folks: another end-of-season slump. (This is why we are not a basketball school.) Some of you actually seriously thought we'd be a top four seed. Well, we've blown past that idea to the point that we've now let Kansas win the regular season title and we just might make another early exit at the Big-12 conference championship. The real question now is: will we make it to the third round of March Madness?

Good lord there is a lot of highly irrational chicken little'ing going on here. 3 seed? Worse than a 3 seed? Put your crack pipes down.

As I feared, Texas peaked too early and now their folding like a cheap tent against opponents they should be beating by 20+.

If the current nosedive continues, we may not win another game this year. This is looking more and more like a later onset of what happened last year.

We screwed the pooch for sure against CU. I still think we'll take KSU at home and beat Baylor on the road. If not, then we need a good tournament.

Yeah good teams lose games, but good teams rarely lose twice in just over a week to teams who weren't likely to make the tourney.

I would be very pleasantly surprised if we win against BU and ksu. I would also be surprised if we lose both games. I think we split. I hope, really hope, that we beat ksu and put that nutcase, insane looking coach of theirs into orbit. I would give my left nut to see our guys put a 30 point beat down on ksu.

Texas basketball has had their problems with Kansas State and Baylor recently. Last year Texas was # 1 going into K. State and lost starting their downward slide. They were also 0 - 3 against Baylor last year. Can they share the Championship with Kansas who wins the Big 12 every year it seems?

What's frustrating is the fact that they have lost all momentum. For the longest time they got our hopes up, playing like a team that had a real shot at the final 4, or even winning it all.

Now they look like a team that will be very fortunate to make it to the sweet 16, and probably not even that far. What is it about Rick Barnes teams that makes them piss their pants down the stretch almost every year recently?

He said every year recently, so he's probably referring to every year for the past two years with this year not yet finished.
