Texas​

Tre Johnson: The freshman has arrived. After having some flashes in non-conference play, Johnson had arguably his best game of the season against Tennessee, scoring 26 points on 11-of-17 shooting from the field in the close loss to the Vols.

Oklahoma​

Jeremiah Fears: The freshman has been trending downward in SEC play, but he had his worst game of the season on Saturday against Georgia. This was the first game that Fears failed to crack double figures, scoring only two points on 11 field goal attempts with four turnovers to five assists.

• POPE ON A ROLL: Junior G Jordan Pope has averaged a team-best 19.7 ppg over the last six contests while converting 54.1-percent (40-74) from the floor, including a 50-percent mark (21-42) from three-point range, and 85-percent (17-20) from the free throw line.

• JOHNSON FINDS HIS STROKE: Freshman G Tre Johnson registered a game-high 26 points (11-17 FG, 4-8 threes) in 36 minutes during Saturday's home contest against No. 1/1 Tennessee. Johnson, who topped the 20-point mark for the fifth time this year and first since against UConn on Dec. 8, ranks third in the SEC in scoring (18.9 ppg).
 
Closed out the 1st half nicely. Mark is finally having a "make your plays" kind of game instead of just stepping in when the ball comes his way.

Johnson is incredible. It's nice to have him for a season.

Impressive to have a 20 pt lead on the road in conference play. Hopefully we are building on the close games to #1 Tennessee and #2 Auburn.
 
They have had zero clue since OU called the timeout early in the 2nd half. Terry doesn't know how to stop the bleeding.

Zero baskets through the last 2 tv timeouts.
 
21-3 run by OU. Now on our 3rd tv timeout since our last basket.

Terry just doesn't have "it." Performances like this alone are enough for me (and CdC, honestly) to begin the search.
 
Horns get a Quad 1 win. I’m still not sold on their scheme. Too much 1 on 1 in offense. Fortunately Pope carried the team for 10 minutes of the 2nd half.

But it’s a conference road win period. #2 Auburn came into Moody as a 10 pt favorite. They blew a 20 pt lead and won by 5 and their fans response- ‘good road win, chalk it up and move on’.

We were a 3 pt underdog tonight, blew a 23 pt lead but held on to win by 4. I’m sure our fans will be like- ‘This team sucks, Terry sucks- can’t even put a team away with 23 pt lead’.
 
Again, I haven't watched more than a couple of minutes all season but tuned in tonight because it was OU at Norman. Horns were up by 20, so I went channel surfing. Tune back in - how the hell did we blow a 20 point lead. Except for technical foul, which Terry should have gotten for all the no calls on hockey checks, is there a mistake the Horns didn't make? Do they practice? Does Terry ever coach? Take one man off the court, and OU runs us out of town all the way down to Turner Falls.

My question about WHOM would we get because the pickins are thin, is changing to "can he be worse"

Seriously, how much money do we have invested in salaries, benefits, NIL?
