We cannot lose this weeked

Jamison is interested in leaving? Why? He has had multiple opportunities on the field and has acquitted himself well. I do not follow this one at all.
Acquitted himself well? Yes, he's almost mastered the "allow the WR to blow right past you and catch another TD bomb" technique. And this is from the guy (me) that was more excited about Jamison than any other DB signed in that class.

From what I was told, Pouncey loves Texas, his coaches, and the program, but wants to attend another school and receive more playing time.

You mean a freshman WR had trouble finding the field on a team with two superstar senior WRs? And he's not willing to see what sort of time he gets next year with Johnson, Duvernay, and Burt all no longer here?

And this is from the guy (me) that was more excited about Jamison than any other DB signed in that class.

Wasn't he a WR then?

Kids today have changed. All-Star Camps; QB Camps; etc. have fostered a sense of self importance (the tangible results of which are seen in the TP). Anyone who played football in the 60's knows how Mehringer's style is reported was commonplace then. You cross or complain about a coach and your choice was either to turn your equipment in or run stands. Today's kids just move on to the next school who promises great things.

Is Kstate good enough so the game will be televised? I mean, because they've got good coaching and all....probably not injured or anything.... ;)

So the stats say our D is enormously bad. On the other hand, there have been a lot of injuries
Against TCU roughly 1/2 of our 2-deep from the season opener at LB, DB were either limited, completely out, or had departed via transfer.
And ... believe it or not, we held TCU below its scoring average, total yards per game and average rush yards per game. What lost the game was primarily turnovers and lack of converting red-zone possessions into TDs.

Here is the list of LBs and DBs who were available for TCU. This group entered this season with 28 total starts, with Brandon Jones alone having 23 of those starts

For KSU, we still hope Jeffrey McCulloch can practice this week (1st time since injury)
BJ Foster is probable
DeMarvion Overshown is cleared to practice
Caden Sterns is probable
Jordan Whittington is probable and is back at practice.

Line today is out to Texas -7.5
If I were a betting man I would take KSU and the points. The Horns can certainly beat the puss cats. But I would be happily surprised if the Horns can pull away and win by 8 or more.

If the Horns win by 8 or more that will be a great momentum builder for the remaining games. :hookem2:

They have the worst passing offense in the conference, one of the worst in the NCAA. But their scoring offense is #41 at 33.4 PPG and they rush for 217 YPG.
Can we get ahead and make them play catch up?

Latest on injuries

Caden Sterns expected to play
BJ Foster expected to play
DeMarvion Overshown practiced this week, but is game-time decision
Jeffrey McCulloch practiced this week, but is game-time decision
Jordan Whittington practiced this week, but is game-time decision

Glad to see Caden listed as playing, hope he’s ready. Worried about others though, most fearful of playing BJ if he’s not ready.
I also hope if J Whit doesn’t play that Kirk J gets some carries.
