VY--I hope I'm wrong

This Sooner hopes VY gets it together and sticks around long enough to assure his long term pension. That may mean holding the clipboard for a few years. I always liked the guy and want nothing for him but the best.

Vince was listed on Friday's injury report with a tight hamstring. It was not something that he made up on the
sideline.

And stating that his ankle injury was much worse than what happened to his knee on Sunday is just plain ignorant. The MRI taken yesterday shows a sprain of the MCL.

A few weeks off is just what Vince needs.

He will be fine when he gets back and if the Titans would quit putting him in third and long on every series he would have much more success.

Let us not forget Vince is only in his third season and none of the hall of fame QB's before him were lights out in their third season. As a matter of fact almost all of them threw more INT's than TD's during that span. This instant success generation needs to calm down and give it time.

Mandingo - Thanks for posting that list. I was thinking the same thing when I saw that idiotic statement about our platers having trouble adjusting and the long list of players who are doing just fine. I was too lazy to look it up.

I knew at the time that VY was not ready for the NFL. He took his college game to the pro level and did what only VY could do. Tommy Frazer and alike was not good enough to bring their style to the NFL. VY brought his style to the NFL and succeeded his rookie year. But he has gain some size which has slowed him down now and with that extra weight, he is not the same VY as his senior year at Texas and his rookie year. I noticed it last year that he had gained some weight from his rookie year. Now he is asked to be a different QB with his arm and that is not what made him so successful in the past. His running opening up his passing lanes.

But my original statement that he was not ready for the long term of the NFL with his style of football is what I believe. One thing about it though, he showed that he could be successful with what so many other QB'slike him out of college couldn't do. I think this is another argument why VY is the greatest college QB ever. VY is a winner and is use to being the main reason his teams win. I still think the Titans did him no justice by not getting him help so that he could change his style.

Vince, you question how the fans feel about you in Tenn. You have no doubt how the majority of the state of Texas feels about you. Keep moving forward and never quit!!!!!!!

Nothing wrong with quiting pro football if he thinks it through. Just make sure you have the financial side of things planned out.

Let's just reminisce for a moment just in case... Vince Highlights

I really hope he can return to form too. There really isn't another player that brought to the game what he did at Texas, emotionally and physically.

I cannot believe this many of you actually think Vince is done or is going to retire. You obviously do not know Vince very well.

He will be back.

With a vengeance.
