So when somebody is having one of "those" nights, we are supposed to ignore it and NOT work to get him the ball. Sounds like really great strategy.

I would say 1-6 and 0-3 this game and 8-23 (24%) 4-18 (22%) over the last four games qualifies as a shooting slump. Yes, he did have a lot of assist. Did not say he should be pulled because we need both Hunter and Carr to be on, we have 2 combo guards and not a true point. Yes, Hunter distributing the ball allows Carr to provide fire power. However, it is not a good strategy to allow opponents to slough off Hunter. He has been a scoring threat before the recent slump and I hope he regains the touch he had earlier in the season.

Texas Comm was not a good team yet we let them shoot over 50% from the field and 3 point range. You cannot allow that in conference play.

Team defense appears to be where Beard is missed. If we allow 50+ % in Big 12 play, it will be a long season. Allowing opponents to shoot over 50% from the field and 3 pt is not a winning strategy in Big 12 play.
