Volleyball Finals - Horns & Huskers

time to dig deep ladies. I'm at a brew house and they just switched all 5 TV's from the cowbags game to this match!

I thought it would be tough on our Horns tonight with NU energy from the home crowd.
This is heartbreaking for this group of SRs. they are an awesome class though :hookem:
 
Thanks for a great season Ladies. Thank you seniors for 4 great years that included an NC. For the rest let's go for it again in 2016!
 
I agree with Elliott... it wasn't a matter of the crowd. They just couldn't get into a rhythm with passing. The only facet in which NU looked better than Texas was the blocks. If Texas had the passing tonight, I think it could have been a dramatic reversal in fortunes.

Good season though.

Why did they play this in Omaha with homecourt advantage to Nebraska?

I watched this match with a 2 time state HS 4A finalist vball player and she said Texas looked "hungover". Whatever that means.

Hold your heads high ladies. Great season.
 
It was a season to be proud of, but I don't understand why we didn't just keep trying to feed it to Bedart-Ghani (27), our stud freshman hitter. Every time she got a touch in this tournament, good things happened. Nebraska had more confidence in their freshman stud, too bad for us...
 
Congrats on a great season. I think this team over-achieved. Unfortunately Kansas knocked off USC....That did us in. We probably would have done better against them, had they gotten by Nebraska. Going against a team in their back yard is tough to do. Teams learned to attack Amy Neil, and that put us behind the 8 ball. 4 back to back final fours ain't nothin to hang your head about. Super season. Usually its just coach speak, but for us it isn't.....We will be back and probably very soon as long as Elliott stays around.
 
Great season and what a senior class, 4 final fours, two NC games and a national championship. Tough loss yesterday but these ladies made all of us proud.:bevo:
 
Good run ladies, tough ending but enjoyed watching what I could this year. Makes me anxious for next year!

Great season by the team (especially our three seniors) and great job of coaching by Elliott. If you had told me that Ebony Nwanebu and Micaya White would basically miss the entire season and the team would still make the finals, I would've said no way. Looking forward to next year!

I think those are second place in sadness to "Never more". In that regard, we're still in a happy place.
