Visitors Weekend Thread (Jan 22-24)

The rumor is all confirmed by multiple sources now. EJ at horns247 also said that they were asked to keep it quiet but knew of the visit earlier today. Apparently some other sites did not really pay heed to it and let it out as rumor. Anyway, Mark Jackson apparently did come in, to basically visit the McCombs school, and his parents are apparently all sold on Texas.
 
I love it when random hookems are tweeted out by recruits, out of the blue. Hope he means he also got the sign from God to come to where he always belonged.

As JoeFan posted in the other thread, Reggie Hemphill-Mapps had another of his "another one" tweets. His count of silent commits is up to 6 or something now. That's about all the news this weekend so far. I do think that at least 2, but probably 3 of the guys who came this weekend would probably commit to us in the end though.
 
After the big excitement of last weekend, there seems to be a lull for the moment. Even though there are signs that a big finish is coming, the only real movement this week end has been Obi Eboh decommitting for Stanford. This is as suspenseful as a good movie stretched out over the next 10 days. Action thrillers I like, horror movies not so much.
 
This time next week, with the last visits done and dusted, recruits will be announcing or not keeping it so close to the vest. 7 days to a top 10 class!
 
One of our current players purportedly told his Uber driver last night (on the way to the Cosby BD bash) he thinks we will round out the DT class with --

I would love to take four solid DT's in this class or more, i didn't see Stephon's name thrown in there but if he wanted to come i would take him too.
 
Sorry I missed all of this past weekend's excitement, but I was having major renovations to my NSA-proof bunker. On top of that, I had to find a good place to stash all the workers' bodies.

Anyway, looking sooooo forward to 2-3!

I would go with the light colored paneling on the concrete walls. It gives a warmer look, instead of just cold and gray.

Maybe a dimmer switch, so the lighting won't be so harsh.

Be sure to pipe in some nice music and of course you must have internet access to keep up with Hornfans and recruiting.
