Vanderbilt game 3/3/24

and he pulls it back on the first two for balls and then lays down a dang good bunt. Moves both over. 2 on, 1 out. Gasparino needs to come through here.
 
wow!! and high bouncing ball over the third baseman scores two!!! :yippee::bounce1: and Gasparino makes it to 2nd base on that hit.
 
O'Dowd hit the ball well but center fielder catches it in right center field for 2 outs. Gasparino tags up and goes to 3rd. Thomas up and way over due.
 
:brickwall: Wild pitch gets the runner to 2nd. Had this batter down 0-2 and now it’s full count. Next pitch is a Ground ball out to O’Dowd.
 
Runner now on third thanks to the help of a wild pitch, would have been an easy double play though!!!! Ridiculous!!
 
How the hell can college pitchers throw so damn many pitches into the dirt??!? Deep fly ball now to Rf and the runner tags and scores. Horns up 8-3
 
I don’t care if we are up by 6 runs, this crap has to stop. It cost us last night. Next hitter hits a single. 1 on, 2 outs.
 
Borba hits a good line drive to center. Belyeu has to play it like it could be caught and so he can’t make it past third. Runners on the corners.
1st pitch to Gasparino though is a wild pitch and Borba advances to 2nd.
 
Gasparino hits a fly ball deep enough for Belyeu to tag and score. Horns with 11 runs now.
 
fly out to RF ends the inning. Howard has gone 4 complete with one error that cost him a run earlier in the game, about the only thing I can really complain about with him. He stayed ahead this inning and gets out of it with no damage.
 
We've scored 21 runs in the last two games so far with an improved batting order AND with Brown and O'Dowd finally waking up a little bit. The pitching has been outstanding all weekend too by the way so this isn't a fluke. Would have been nice to have this lineup against LSU.
