I was at the game last night. Had great seats on the 10th row by the basket (right behind the Longhorn bench). I had a couple of friends with me who are big NBA fans and they both thought Isaiah and Javon handled the press very well. One of my friends was not familiar with the team and he was saying Taylor had next level written all over him. Their ball skills and cool heads were obvious. Plus their quickness. Javon kind of hurried a couple of possessions near the end by jacking up a shot early in the shot clock which created some heartburn. Having that proximity to the bench was nice because we could see Shaka talking to Javon about it. Once he kind of laughed about it but the next time they had to talk he was serious.
Ibeh will think about that dunk he missed but he redeemed himself with an awesome alley-oop (again, right in front of us)! The team looked good except for one thing: We give up way too many offensive rebounds!
