UT vs wvu

WHOA! Felix with the HUGE three and Lammert with lots of big rebounds down the stretch!
How can that be, harry? @majorwhiteapples has assured us that Felix and Lammert should never see the court because they suck. Remember this?
How Lammert or Felix ever see the floor, especially with the new kids on the team I will never know, those two are the biggest defensive liabilities in the world. Lammert still has not learned how to get a rebound, you have to be watching for this next time they play, he jumps for the rebound before it hits the rim, hence he is on the way down while the other player is on the way up and appears to over-power Lammert every fricking time!!!!!

Lammert is worse and I never thought I would say this than Boddicker.

Felix, he is just horrible 80% of the time.

Texas handed #6 West Va their first home loss all season. All other visitors (including KU) lost by double-digits. Great victory, and one that will carry much weight with the committee. :hookem:

Probably because that was written on a different game, or at least I didn't see it on this one, and you're trying to antagonize @majorwhiteapples ?

It's the man's opinion, and it was probably when each of them were not having a good stretch of play. It's in the past now, so why can't you just let it be?

If the statement made was that strong, along the lines of "They suck so bad, they should literally never see the court", then yeah, the person making a statement like that should come back and eat their medicine like a crow, or whatever it is. Calling them out all year game after game every time said players did well would be dickish and excessive, but the very next game after the criticism is another story, to me at least.

I wasn't able to watch last night, so as I was going home I remembered to check the score and almost fell out of the car. Fantastic win - ugly on the road is still beautiful on the way back home.

Reading the comments I'm not sure how much I'll enjoy watching the replay, but at least the last few minutes will be fun!

Five-way tie for second... I believe some had predicted that the Big XII race might be a little muddy this year?

Felix and Lammert are the worst Texas players with so many minutes in I don't know how many years. Those two's +/- ratios are atrocious but some ignorant *** doesn't even know what that is......That vaunted Felix and Lammert Defense will do nothing but dissapoint, stay on there bandwagon jackass it is a long season and you will see...

Look people it's time for the name calling to stop. No more calling people morons or jackasses.

Felix's points down the stretch won the wvu game. Lammet's 3 also helped seal it. They were the only ones who scored for Texas in the last minutes.

majorsourapples, you really don't know anything about basketball.

@majorwhiteapples
Care to guess what these numbers are?
https://www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-basketball/team/texas-longhorns/roster
These are season to date Efficiency numbers for every player on our team. Feel free to follow the link if you don't believe me. You will have to change the "View" to "Efficiency" and the "Rate" to "Season Totals".

Of the players available to us at the moment, Isaiah is clearly the leader (as any sensible person would suspect), but can you believe who comes in second and third?

I am truly sorry you are so emotionally invested in your unfounded negative beliefs about Lammert and Felix, but the numbers simply do not support you. I hope you can step back, take a deep breath, and acknowledge that those two guys are huge positive factors for the team. And then just enjoy the rest of the season without all the anger and bitterness.

No surprise to me who came in 2nd and 3rd. (by the way that is an awesome post; thanks for the info)

So, I'm guessing that Shaka's decision to start Felix and Lammert and give them significant minutes is something 100% of his coaching staff agree with. And I'm also guessing it would be the same if Bill Self, or Lon Kruger, or Roy Williams, Larry Brown, or any other decent D 1 coach were coaching this team.

I haven't seen that much blind, single-minded denial since the West Mall. If you could maybe give I dunno... one specific thing that would support your viewpoint, or maybe address the massive pile of evidence that says you don't know what you're talking about?

When you go after players for what I can only assume have to be personal reasons (because you refuse to back it up with anything more profound than "they suck"), you don't get to slink off into the internet and not defend yourself.

^^^This. To hammer specific players by name, while you remain anonymous, on the internet is just unmanly.

All the players work their asses off; give blood, sweat, and tears every day. Some have more god given talent than others. But to call them out by name, and make asinine statements about them while providing no evidence to back up claims of poor play is just cowardly.
