UT vs. Baylor

Game over. This team is so lost. I'd just put in the subs and sit Dex and James down and tell them they don't play until they learn to shoot free throws. James is killing us in his inability to hit a free throw. Be a leader man. Good grief. I can shoot better one handed and i"m 50.
 
I agree, but what is worse is James' not passing the ball on two consecutive fast breaks. That and then a couple of minutes into the second half he jumps towards the player instead of jumping to get the ball on a rebound attempt.

It's like they don't have any instincts to play as a team at all.

This is really something else.
 
We don't run a fast break correctly. We need to pass the ball down the court. Instead the point guard runs to the ball and allows the defense to get back.

On offense, we pass the ball around the perimeter and then either pass the ball into a packed in defense or decide to try a one on one move. No screens. No off the ball movement. No passing the ball back out.
 
two foul shots coming again. Our only hope is that they commit so many fouls that one by one their starters foul out. But, by then there will be less than 5 minutes left, depending upon their lead, they might not care if they have starters or reserves.
 
seriously, we should just back off and shoot 3s the rest of the game, because these foul shots are hurting too much.
 
Pittman always looks to score every time he gets the ball....you'd think Barnes would get a good set of shooters that are waiting for Pittman to throw it out to them for a WIDE OPEN shot!?
 
Pittman has come alive. This game is so incredibly sloppy, I think it deserves to go to overtime. The players need more work. We're doing better, we need much more work. Maybe two or three overtimes.
 
Should we even be ranked ? We look as bad as a Barnes team as ever looked. What has changed since early in the season? The defense on Dex ?
 
3:40 left and we do a behind the back pass for an open 3. Why not do the easy pass? Do we not have enough turnovers? It looks like AAU ball.
 
are you kidding? we can't score when we that close. We either need a 3 pointer or a mid-range jumper. I still predict OT with this mess.

Agree with someone, this team shouldn't be ranked.
 
I believe in synergy and focusness but come on team - it has to also have performance and we didn't get it today. Bad free throws at the wrong time, missed wide open three pointers and bad rebounding. We better get out of this slump fast. It is hard to believe that we were talking about a possible NC run a couple of weeks ago. And Baylor isn't exactly a top ranked team and they are doing this to us in Austin.
