He has to learn how to protect the ball and what color his team is wearing. He will go high, but unless he matures 50/50 if he makes it 5 years in the league.

The thing is, since USC has not been forced to play a true freshman or soph at QB (like a certain school that shall remain nameless), they will have a mature and serviceable replacement for Darnold. That's the way it is supposed to work. Sign at least one recruit each year who can be your starting QB someday, and you're not forced into playing baby faced 17 y/o year after year.

Only time will tell if we are even moving in that direction yet. With the o-line problems and other issues, it's hard to tell if we have a serviceable QB on campus or not. Will it be a true freshman under center this fall or not? It's not out of the question.
