We have played for the title twice in the last 5 years, and came very close to another shot in 2008. Our recruiting is as good as it gets.

6 of the Rivals national top 7 signed with either USC or Florida, each getting three a piece. And then Texas signed a class that in most years would have been the best.

The gap between these three schools and the rest of the country is widening. Its simple. You have the three biggest schools in the three biggest hotbeds in the country.

Fellow Horn fans don't be upset on where the national ratings rate us. It is success in the future that counts. This is a great class that we must be and are delighted with.

Overall, this is our best class ever. If you take the qbs out (Vince-Wood-McCoy) the remainder is a no brainer for this year. That class had a lot of highly rated but many were "not to our standard" in other areas. Several had worrisome attached to their LOI. Marco Martin, db from Garland area and wr from Flower Mound were three that were particularly were questionable. This class has none of those type players. The only ones we lose from this group would be later on with players that give up on moving up the depth chart. McCoy jumps out there, but we would've said the same about his older brother (forgot his name)
