I won't jump completely into the Dempsey argument but I will take time to point out one good and one bad thing I feel Dempsey brings.
Good - His creativity on the ball is something matched by only Adu. He is not afraid to take on several defenders at one time because he has confidence and the skills to win those challenges.
Bad - Because no US player is a star each had bad qualities to go with the good. When Dempsey is on the ball...I feel he has a tendency to completely zone out and fail to recognize everyone else running around him thus turning it only into 1v1 soccer instead of a match of two teams.
