USA Softball

I have the schedule of the games, we play at 11:00pm pretty much every night until the medal rounds, from the 11th through the 18th, minus a couple of nights. Does anybody know if these are going to be televised anywhere? I doubt that NBC will do the whole game.

NBC has me completely confused.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

I remember we won a critical game in 2004 when CAT pitched and it was tied and we scored late to win (I think it was against Japan) and whoever was televising it cut it off and we missed the deciding run because of time constraints.

Hopefully the coverage will be better this year.

Just to avoid confusion, I think that whenever the chart above specifies a date, the game begins in the US the previous evening. In other words, the first game (Tuesday noon) game begins tonight at midnight eastern, I think.

I really am not liking NBC, as I watched it till at least 1:30am Dallas time and not a mention of the game.

The Medal Round/Playoff

The winner of Seed 1 vs. Seed 2 is automatically in the Gold Medal Game.

The winner of Seed 3 vs. Seed 4 gets a chance to play the loser of Seed 1 vs. Seed 2 for a chance at the Gold Medal Game.

That is a little strange, is that right?
