I guess this means we can look forward to a struggle to qualify to Brazil 2014 and no way we get as fortunate a draw that year as this and with Big Game Bob (sorry Gem I just couldnt stop myself) at the helm another France '98 like performance is likely. The US team was at a crossroads this year and once again has chosen the path of least resistance and least risk but also least opportunity.
I console myself with the fact that my daughter will be born in November and with any luck when she is 12 I can take her to see some W/C games being held in the United States.

Berate is a synonym for slight or put down. So, yeah that's accurate. Let's see, "one trick pony", "couldn't crack top 100 list", abilities are "common" at the intl. level. I'd say that's pretty demeaning, but maybe just me. I'm not his mom but I could be his cousin for all you know. He's a much better intl. player than I think you think he is. You probably never even watch the guy play. Or it could just be a lack of soccer acumen, in which case, you're forgiven.
CONCACAF is a joke. It's an association of second rate teams from developing countries.
The Gold Cup is also a joke because the field is comprised of teams from CONCACAF.
2009 Confed was an anomaly. I have to give the team credit for beating Spain and finishing 2nd in that field. But I think that is as much a testament to the caliber of the players on that squad as much as it is the coaching. Also, I think a lot of Guido's in Vegas made a lot of money on that match, I'm just sayin.
Don't forget the 2007 Copa America showing...Bradley coached that very inexperienced lineup to 0 points in 3 losses.
Bradley's successes are largely attributable to the international players he has had the luxury of coaching. He doesn't coach up and he doesn't coach well in big games. I'd provide you with a more in depth statistical analysis of his failures, and successes...but I don't think you'd be able to grasp it.
