Fellow 'Horns,
I'm simply overwhelmed by the response we've received from you guys. It's kinda hard to type right now 'cause I keep choking up, but I wanted to give those of you who asked an update on Hannah's condition and also let Katie and/or the moderators know that we can probably go ahead and move this and the original post over to the prayer request forum - I'll try to post further updates there as time goes on.
Thank you, THANK YOU, for what your responses have meant to a very frightened family.
God Bless You ALL,
-Craig (Horn_Daddy)
UPDATE: DAY 6
Thank you all for the responses and your continued prayers. Hannah has shown some improvement since she was admitted. We are starting to see some more activity with her eyes and her pupils are finally responding to light the way the doctors want.
She is now on the lowest setting of her ventilator which means she is actually doing some of her own breathing. The doctors even considered taking her off the ventilator today but elected to keep her breathing tube in a little longer.
She'd be embarassed for me to tell you this, but she also had two bowel movements which the doctors tell us is a good sign.
For all the little bits of good news, she's still got a looooong way to go and is still in very critical condition. I ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers - hopefully these little steps we are seeing will turn into bigger ones as we go along. God Bless ALL of you for your continued support - her mother and I can never be able to let you know how greatful we are.
