As some of you know, my daughter graduated from UT in 2004 and went to UT Medical School in Houston. She graduates in May and starts her residency in June. She matched with her first choice, an outstanding program, which is unfortunately (for her mother) out-of-state.
UT Med prepared her so well that she simply blew away the board exams. The faculty at UT is outstanding, the facilities are second to none, and the culture encouraged among the students is one of support and teamwork.
If any of you are entertaining the idea of medical school or have children who are, I strongly encourage you to consider UT-Houston.
She is planning to come home for a UT football game this fall.
