Unemployment falls to 7.8%!

Roger35, I'm not trying to be Debbie Downer but that is aweful news. We need to have atleast 150K new jobs per month added to break even with population growth.

question is, how many people stopped looking for work? there are millions who have pretty much given up. those people aren't counted in these numbers.

So w outspending cash flow by an avg of 600 billion per year = disaster. Obama outspenidng cash flow by an avg of 1.2 TRILLION per year = great job. no wonder we get morons like obama as potus.

The problem is that people who do not understand economics actually vote. I guess you can just call them Yahoo Voters?

These numbers will get adjusted upward again like they most always do. Add in the people that have just stopped looking for work and the REAL unemployment rate just about doubles!

You can try and kid yourself into thinking this is some big breaking news, but it's not. Anyone with half of a brain knows these numbers are a joke.

It was 7.8% when Blowbama was immaculated in office. Campaigning before the 2008 election, Blowbama characterized the economy as "the worst since the great depression".

Since becoming POTUS, Blowbama has had 44 months of an economy and job market worse than what he characterized as great depression-like. He has now managed to turn it around and get us all the way back to where we started 4 years ago, assuming these numbers haven't been rigged. Yippeee!

And limpdicks like Roger35 cheerlead this performance.

How ironic that the Obamacrats that put out this drivel figured out a way to revise it downward just in a nick of time. You don't think that they're trying to save their phony baloney jobs, do you?

Only when Obama doubles the debt AND sends his countrymen off to die in a strategically pointless war will he be considered as bad as his predecessor.

They don't go back and issue a new unemployment rate. They revise the number of jobs that were created/lost. In 2008, they had to do fairly large downward revisions of their initial estimates of the number of jobs created beginning in September of that year. Guess the BLS was trying to help the Rs hold the White House with the overstated initial estimates, right?

Tony Fratto, a former spokesman for President George W. Bush, tweeted that the Bureau of Labor Statistics "is not manipulating data. Evidence of such would be a scandal of enormous proportions & loss of credibility."

In another tweet, Fratto said: "Stop with the dumb conspiracy theories. Good grief."

A non drama queen tittie baby GOP guy! Bravo!

Maybe you should have majored in economics? I basically minored in economics to compliment an accounting degree. MBA from a prestigious private school and also have done quite well for myself.

Basic economics is fairly straightforward. Sorry it did not teach you anything, but glad to see you did well anyway.
