I don't know whether everybody heard this, but at one point in the game, the announcers said Mack sought advice from Lincoln Riley and Kliff Kingsbury on who to hire as offensive coordinator, and hired the guy they both recommended.

The Tarheels just did something that was a rarity when Mack was at Texas: Diagnose and successfully stop a screen pass for a loss.
