TX/K. St.

Well, it was a good run until now. I just hope that the "formula" to beat us doesn't become the common error on the coaches' part for the remainder of the season.
 
are we giving this game away? seriously, we look like we are losing on purpose.

I swear Deloss made some kind of deal with K-State that resulted in them beating us whenever Texas is supposed to win.

K-state has looked terrible tonight and we somehow have looked twice as bad.
 
James and Pittman have totally stunk it up tonight. You can't have your seniors play this bad and win on the road.
 
lots of ball left to be played this year. this team could have just as easily won this game....I think the OT on Sat. and travel hurt us.

this sat. game got even bigger for us to get back on track...pressure is off...lets play ball boys.
 
Yeah, that was a fight against the Aggies. Not sure we have alot of gas for this one.....

We'll get back on track Saturday, don't worry!!
 
I guess we were bound to lose a game here or there so if that is the case, why not to a good ranked team. It could be worse. We could have stank it up v. a bottom feeder. There is still some work to be done not including the basic fundamentals all kids learn playing basketball. Free throws and layups. Wow.

the environment hurt us. the ot and travel doesnt mean crap to these kids. i used to be able to play ball all day when i was 20.
 
Pathetic showing tonight all the way around. Seniors didn't step up and freshmen played like freshmen. Good thing K-State is missing free throws late or this would look about as ugly as it truly was.
 
Wheat aggy takes the 'Horns down again. This is really getting old.

nobody wanted to shoot jump shots tonight. where was the outside shooting? ut took everything into the heavy congested area.
 
.....and the Big 12 tourney is in Kansas City....not good for us....we will have to play Kansas or Kan aggy in Kansas...damn.
 
We better get our damn offense back in synch or it won't matter where the tournament is played. Pittman getting only 6 points is inexcusable. The last 2 games we've shown no flow offensively. Coaches have to get to work on getting these guys refocused. Maybe this loss will help them to do that.
 
As long as we are the #1 seed in the Big 12 Tourney, I won't be that disappointed if we lose to KU or KSU....because that will likely mean we have made it to the Big 12 Tournament final and will also likely mean we defeated KU in Austin....add all of that up and we hopefully would have the #1 seed in the South regional (Houston) locked up before tipoff of the matchup between KU or KSU in the Big 12 Tournament.
 
They wanted it more than us tonight. Out hustled us, got the offensive boards while we stood around, continually tried to bat away the balls, mostly successful. Our guys did not adjust and kept doing the same things that didn't work. They good guys didn't want this hard enough and our youth definitely showed while our elders played like grandpas.
 
Frankly they did little to beat us. We beat ourselves tonight. VERY poor shooting (floor and ft), and a second straight lazy effort by Dex. I told the wife that if we had to depend on only James again we'd lose tonight. We did, and he had an off night, so BAM. Also, our guard play, outside of Balbay, was horrific. So, basically we stunk and they had to stretch like the devil to win this.
