TX/Colorado Football - Tough to get tix?

I'll be traveling up to Boulder this fall for the game, so i'm curious how difficult it will likely be to get tickets.

- Has anyone had trouble getting tickets to a game up there in the past?
- What's the best way to go about getting a pair for the game?

If you are a UT season ticket holder, just order them on your 2008 application.

If you're not, call the UT Foundation and ask if they usually have to send tickets back. If they do, then you might be able to buy some from them.

If you know a season ticket holder, they can order them for you with their order that is due May 30th.

And eBay always has tickets.

Failing any of those, there are always tickets for sale on game day in Boulder.

Thx Marley. I'm not a season ticket holder, so i'll probably give the foundation a call.

Craigslist and day of scalpers are always my fall back.

Went 4 years ago while I was working in Denver. We didn't have any problem with ordering it online directly from the Colorado ticket office. They gave you your choice of section, so we just avoided the closed endzone where their student section was.

I've been to Texas @ CU in 1993, 1996, 2000, 2004 and will be going again in 2008.

If you want to sit in the UT section, just show up to the Horn Fans tailgate and raise two fingers in the air. If you want to sit in good seats for a reasonable price, just show up on game day and hold two fingers in the air near the stadium about 30 minutes before kickoff.

If you have money to burn, want guaranteed primo seats, are afraid to buy from strangers or need more than two seats together, go to eBay, Craigslist, CU ticket office, etc.

If it your first trip to CU and it's a day game, I recommend sitting in the CU sections with a view of the Flatirons. It's the best view in the Big XII.

I did find on Colorado's ticket office site how individual game tickets go on sale 8/1/08.

They give this link with seating chart and costs:

Does anyone know which section is the CU student section?

I assume it's in the endzone based on Danny's post, but just curious if they're just a particular section of the endzone.

I sat in a sea of empty seats in '04- and this was before the game.

although i clearly remember that CU's total offense was abismal, something like 140 total yards, and their only score was a VY pick 6
