My preferred pronouns are "your majesty" and "your highness". If you don't go along with my delusions then you are obviously a bigot.
 
Boy this has really summed up the divide in America.

1 - Twitter threatens to treat the left and right differently
2 - Right: screw this, let's leave and join our own social media site
3 - Left: haha weenies and quitters
4 - Twitter threatens to treat the left and right the same

Except with #1 they didn't threaten, they actually did it.

You left out 3.1- convince AWS to refuse to host the alternate site and persuade Apple and Google to refuse to allow the app to be downloaded.

So you agree with the destruction of a company because of the actions of a few? You may as well condone forcing the automakers to close because of their vehicles being used for large-scale drug smuggling and human trafficking operations.

You just cannot bring yourself to admit that it was a deliberate stifling of speech avenues available to persons with political viewpoints you don't like.

Not all speech is sacred. You can't yell fire in a theater. That's the stifling of speech. Speech that is being used to try to overthrow the Republic needs to be managed.

Who exactly defines that speech as harmful? You nor I don't define that and neither does twitter. No person or company should be able to censor nor ban that speech until the appropriate group has agreed to that...and I think you know who that group is.

You clearly never spent time on Parler or you would know that it was not something near as pervasive as you and your ilk made it out to be.

MANY there were there to discuss things that Twitter was not permitting without bans and suspensions, to include the rights of females to be free from males in make-up invading our sports and changing rooms. In the UK, they were also wanting to avoid the predators from being afforded housing in the female prisons, a problem that has now invaded THIS country, as evidenced by the growing reports of issues that come WITH that level of administrative stupidity.

Just admit that, given your druthers, conservative and rational voices would be left with zero places to speak or gather in a figurative sense. You show yourself more and more by the day to be enamored with the authoritarian bent of your Party...

To me, this is the bigger story. Get platforms to block something, and folks can't use it without big hoop jumps. Another example is GoDaddy blocking a site (maybe from Right To Life org) set up to report abortion helpers (whatever the law calls them...) under the recent Texas law.
