Tuesday night live practice updates…

If I had been at practice last night, this is what I would have thought...

There's a reason Sanders is a TE and not a WR
The commentary on Card getting a bad rap last year may be correct. Not saying he will be all that...but deep ball looks better, looks the part overall, an underrated runner, still struggles at times w pocket awareness. Just sayin dont write him off yet based on last year
The LBs look much better this year (and are being utilized better)
The# of picks thrown by QBs surpassed only by the # of passes dropped by WRs
Bijan has added some real attitude/feistiness and leadership to his already vast repertoire of assets
Jwhitt looks the part &could emerge as a star
RJ is missed
Angilau doing his best to coach up understudys (he was considered the best leader of the oline prior to injury)
Very unfortunate Collins cant be there
Still early and not optimal format but would rather see at least one QB level up
Cain looks good (though he had the benefit of being a no contact)
I see why they sayin what they sayin on Red
Secondary more ballhawking than what I recall recently
Hard to say on both d and o lines
Hard to say on Ewers....other than he can throw like few others (Joe Burrow, anyone?) from awkward positions
Kicking so so
Billingsley giving good effort
Demo, TD, and Ford could give opposing teams trouble if the line does its part
I have more confidence in the coaching at this moment than at anytime since 2012 (not saying much, but...)
FWIW IMHO

When I look around the big 12 it’s really hard for me to complain about having three quality quarterbacks on the roster. Look at OU. After their transfer they have nobody in the pipeline.
Bailor, Aggie, even USC. Bama?
