I misread your post. I thought you implied Trump was within 6” of her, not 6” in her. Regardless, never mention together taint and Hope ever again. Are you some type of sick bastard?
 
So what happens if a major party candidate has to be replaced so close to the election?
 
It's way too early to be concerned. Besides, he's going to get the kind of treatment and care that we only could dream of.
 
Assuming Trump recovers before the election, I think this could be a net positive for him. Certainly makes him more sympathetic.
 
I’m not sweating it, but Trump is 74 and obese. Sounds like he has never smoked, drank alcohol or done drugs, so he should be fine. I was concerned prior to seeing him walk out. History says presidents under report the severity of illness.
Trump might get a bump politically as the liberal media will tone down their attacks (I think).
 
Trump looked fine walking to the helicopter. My guess is that the real fear is heart / pulmonary issues due to covid related clotting. They are probably going to check him multiple times daily for pulmonary related potentialities.

It would be funny if Biden got it since he made such a big deal about wearing masks and accusing Trump of being careless.

I'm not sure Trump even has symptoms.

The only thing confirmed from his doctor is fatigue. The other things said like fever are from anonymous reports. Time will tell if that's true or not.

I don’t know understand how any president handles the work and pressure of the job. I am a walking zombie after 9 months of Covid and I don’t have 1/100000000000 the responsibility.
 
Agree theiio, my pos test was Aug 24 and still going to doc for follow up. I feel great for two - three days then something crops up again. Had a neg brain swab (felt like they hit the brain) Sept 23rd but still have recurring nagging throat, occasional dry cough. Because of elevated inflammation tests am doing a stress test to insure no heart issue then, if blood tests still high, will see an infectious disease specialist. All a side effect of that damn virus.

I thought this as soon as I heard the news. It could also give him an opportunity to reset. I actually think that a less edgy Trump, after this, could attract more than a few voters.

And if he comes thru this in good order, it gives an appearance of a leader who was willing to go "to the front lines" against the virus all the while doing business as usual, unafraid of the consequences. Which are more dangerous for him than most of us given his age

Not to sound like a TrumpHead, but this is what leaders DO. They lead by example. If he'd lived in a bunker since April, he'd seem more like a coward to most. The world needs to move forward, not sit still. State imposed Lockdowns have down a lot of damage to the economy. Trump has shown more leadership in this regard than most Governors. If there are any undecideds out there, they will eventually acknowledge his willful leadership concerning this
 
Economy is growing each month and deaths are going down. The UW modelers predicted 2000 deaths daily by Election Day and 3000 by end of year. Note deaths barely pierced 2000 during its worse days.
