Trump tweets that he has covid 19

The problem is that we wouldn't reach the conclusions you and I would generally want. People wouldn't assume that government in general was something not to be trusted. They'd assume that government was legitimate when their side was in power and illegitimate when it wasn't. Everything would be selective, which is basically the end of the concept of the rule of law. On social issues, we're already there.

I think we are there already.

Ruining the Court won't make people receptive to entitlement reform. Frankly, we aren't that deep on the issue. Entitlement reform fails for two reasons. First, "they're going to take away your Social Security" is a discussion-ender. It's like calling someone racist. Furthermore, our political media accepts it as such and does it without any analysis or discussion. That guarantees that the elderly vote to keep it.

Second, our young people are too stupid to understand how they're getting robbed. Even worse, they're too preoccupied with weed, video games, and internet porn to even be concerned. They'd have to put down their doobie, their video game controller, and their dicks for ten minutes so they can think straight enough to do some 4th grade math. They aren't willing to do that.

That is a great description of how things are today. My point was that it will take SOMETHING to shake people out of this attitude. Maybe court packing doesn't do it. But I think it could crack the veneer.

Apparently masks, hand sanitizer, social distancing, and vitamin D was all that was needed. Lockdowns were fool hardy. I am onboard with mandatory masks “indoors”.

I would be surprised if Crock responds. He still hasn't answered which if Trump's policies he considers dangerous.
Been putting in 70 plus hours for work and study. Trumps danger is his fart in a hot skillet decision making style. I'll leave an exhaustive list to Robert Reich, but will mention the actions for which Trump was impeached along with his undervetted decision to withdraw from the Korea Free Trade agreement, fortunately thwarted by courageous aides of the sort the President no longer keeps around. I'd also say his continuing indoor, maskless rallies in the time of COVID is the sort of selfish, reckless behavior I distrust.

His rallies are outdoors at airports.

Thats way better than indoor rallies like the one in Tulsa that preceded the death of Herman Cain.

The outdoor rallies are a big improvement. But after Americans witnessed the COVID passing behaviors at his events it's kinda like tapping the brakes after the highway patrolman clocks you doing 105.

Well, people on your side falsely claim Trump has never condemned white supremacy etc. He has, multiple times, but the false claim of saying he hasn't is always proof to the left and media that he approves of them.
As much as I dislike Trump, it pains me to watch this crap on TV. Don't have a lot of time for news and when self congratulatory journalists beam when asking candidates their "Yes or No -- Have you stopped beating your wife?" questions I feel embarrassed for them and start reading news, which is about 3 to 5 times as time efficient as watching the news and gets around a lot of the goofy staged drama.

Crock?
You do know Trump and Moon Jae In signed new trade deal?
What was it you liked about the old deal that is not in the new?.

I think if you use actual cast iron, the fart in a hot skillet method works pretty well.

And yet all of that isn't 100th as dangerous as court packing. That's one of the most dangerous things government can do.

I like negotiated trade agreements. I dislike unilaterally ending a trade agreement with a long term ally via memo.

I'm sure he was 6'3" at some point in golf spikes. He's in his mid 70's. People shrink. The elephant in the room is that his height is as much of a PR factor as anything so he won't be labeled "obese" on the BMI chart. Hell, the NDA on his medical staff may be as much related to his weight as anything.

PS: Obama is 6'1"

Or you could respond with your points explaining why you think Merkel is the leader of the free world.

She is the leader of an alternate fantasy world. But as Mr. Deez was implying, overtly or not, the ONLY THING keeping Russia and China from dividing up the world is the United States. That is a fact no matter what the Left wishes as they tap their magic slippers together.
