Irrespective of the Twitter moves, the players at the all star game look like they are having fun. Good for them.

Sabre-No just what I read. He got canned hard for a good reason at the Pigs. I expect he is a buddy of yours and a really great guy?

He's not a "buddy" or even a friend. I just really appreciate the way he responded to one of our own. All class

As for his dismissal, you have to understand the powers in Washington and Benton Counties. I think Johnny Tyson is a great man, but his world has rigid rules, including Ronnie Floyd's church which uses Johnny helicopter to fly between locations on Sunday morning - about five miles. The mattress people, Murphy Brothers, and restaurant owner all have a say, but it is Tyson's vote that counts. He would not tolerate Petrino's indiscretions.

At this point anyone taking the moral high ground when it comes to college football and coaching hires, NIL, concussion syndrome, etc. is just spitting into the onrushing wind. There is no moral high ground, college football is a complete and total cesspool and it doesn't matter because we all still support it and all still invest our time and money into it in numbers that just perversely incentivize jumping into the cesspool. Once you accept that fact nothing moves the meter any more.

He embarrassed Auburn so bad during the Tuberville debacle that I'm not sure he should even be driving near the Plains.

I’m sure Petrino can be charming. I have heard the same said of Switzer, so what?

that said I think Sabre is right. HC in waiting. Jimbo is on thin ice. Aggy is going to be looking for cause to fire him. And with Jimbo’s ethics does anyone doubt he’ll give them one (not that aggy care about that sort of thing but)

What is it that you speak of?

Want something to feel good about tonight!?

LHN replay: TX- ou 2022...

49-0 beatdown.

NEVER GETS OLD!
I remember the OU game in 2021, thinking it could be a harbinger for 2022 season (i.e., a winning season if we stop 2nd half collapses). Well that happened for the most part. Now when I am reminded of the 2022 OU game, I think it could be a harbinger of the 2023 season (i.e., a great season if we play like that more consistently).

Realistically, the only harbinger of things to come from beating OU since 1970 is 2005 and a NC. No other year has produced crap down the road.

Sad reality.

In all honesty, Ou gave up after the failed fg. Tarnishes the win.
I recall a comment I saw on one of the sports websites after the ou game. Not every D1 school played that weekend (some had open dates), BUT - of the schools that played a game, every school scored in their game except one! :)
