Is it just me or does this movie look awful? If I have to hear Robert Downey, Jr. say "I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude" ONE MORE TIME. And who actually thinks Ben Stiller and Jack Black are still funny? This movie is about 5 years too late when these guys were mildly amusing.

With that said, I'm reading that it's actually getting good reviews. Has anyone gone to a pre-screening or sneak preview of this movie or know anything?
 
I think it looks pretty funny as well.

I've seen it and it is actually pretty funny. I am not sure what they are doing with the trailers for this movie, but they do not do it justice. The trailers do not make it look funny as there is no contect to relate to. There is also a very funny cameo apperance that solidifies if for me.
 
Saw it yesterday, definitely had it's laugh out loud moments. Robert Downy Jr. was actually very good IMO. I agree w. the take on Stiller and Black though, dudes just aren't funny. The cameos were fun.
 
i'm a sucker for ridiculous comedies and even i didn't think this was gonna be good.

well it was a lot funnier than i thought. good flick and great for some laughs. the quotes from t.c. were priceless and i'll use those from now on when threatening someone's life.
 
orangebones, the close-up on the kid's face was funnier than the toss. i spit up cold popcorn.
 
Shadowdancer and I saw it last night and we thought it was hilarious. I'm not big on Jack Black, but I thought he was very funny.

I enjoyed it very much, and I probably will see it again.
