Transferring car title. Where?

I bought a sweet little weekend car last Friday, and need to know where to take the title and receipt to get the title transferred. Is it (Nelda Wells Spears office) still downtown? Or did it move to the old airport? Help please.

I think you can also do it at private title offices. There is one in South Austin. If you are going south on Lamar, turn right at the light right before the shopping center with the Suzi's Chinese restaurant (used to be a Trudy's on the corner there years ago). Just after you turn the title office is on the left. I bet they can take care of it. I take care of my registrations there every year.

How about if I need to transfer the registration for the old car to Williamson county (where I live now)? Sounds like the private offices are the places to go. Are there similar places that can handle Williamson county stuff? Thanks.
