And I wasn't one of the ones jumping to "the eyes" or whatever...Don't always? Try next to never.
Not a recipe for success. But, it's the millennial MO.You. When there is competition just walk away. Not a good life lesson being taught.
wonder how good that group could have been with Akina.
The faster the malignancy is removed the better.
Have to look at the coaching, right? The greatest DB class we ever signed is going to go down as a dumpster fire in missed opportunities.
Sterns - I know how everyone on Hornfans feels about him, even though he might be our 2nd draftee taken this year
Foster - Mental case who couldn't decide whether to stay or go
Green - Never lived up to the cover corner hype
Cook - See Foster, except with more missed hits and shuffled to backup duty behind a guy who wanted to leave for USC
Jamison - the lowest rated coming out of HS but arguably the biggest impact
You are really onto something here, Crockett. From what I read during recruiting, all of those kids could go anywhere they wanted. The difference between being here and being at Alabama is they expected to be a star here instead of expecting to have a chance for stardom if they worked incredibly hard. Excellence is a combination of where you started and how fast you are improving.
We need LBs. Good move.

And he’ll be moving into big 12 backfields come Fall.
Similar story with Tyler Owens (who I would hate to lose), but it doesn't sound like he was quite as far down the road as Green. But its at least a possibility
Owens might make a SS/OLB Hybrid, depending on the new DC’s scheme. He’s really fast, and he’s got size and room to grow.
This guy looks like the real deal to me.
Looks like someone who just needs to be put in the right position to flourish...talent off the charts and rate size/speed combo
