Tragedy in UT's Extended Family

Yesterday (Friday, Jan. 25), UT System Chancellor R. D. Burk's wife's grandaughter passed away completely unexpectedly. The beautiful little girl was only 5 (actually, one month shy of her 5th birthday), in good health, and apparenlty died due to complications from an otherwise "routine" childhood illness.

I know the parents, and regularly saw them at football games, with their daughter in her cheerleading outfit.

Your thoughts and prayers for the family and all who are touched by this unexplainable tragedy are appreciated.
