Toughest game in 2008

What do you guys think will be your toughest game this season?

I fully expect the RRS to be a very competitive battle this season. Right now for OU, I would have to say that game is probably going to be the toughest followed by our game at A&M. Looking forward to another great season!

Unfortunately, I think there's a pretty strong list of games that may qualify for this distinction... but I've still got to say OU.

I'm also very scared of the prospect of playing this year's Tech team in Lubbock.

For some reason, I feel pretty good about Mizzou at home and KU in Lawrence... but I guess those could be tough as well.

Cincinnati will be a tough game, but I'm more worried about the game after against Washington in Seattle. As proven last year we were horrible on the road and this is the one non-conference game that really worries me.

Also yes Tech will be much improved this year especially on the defensive side of the ball. My brother goes to tech and he's been attending all the practices and talked to him yesterday and said their defense is looking REAALY good. Of course we'll have to see. He also said he talked to the RB coach and they plan on running the ball a lot more this season. Said they have some running back named Batch that is a beast... I just can't see Tech using RB efficiently. I'm planning on going with him to the their Spring game just so I can see for myself what all the hype is about in Lubbock this year.

If Washington hadn't lost their entire receiving corps and 3/4 of their d-line, I'd say you have every right to be worried Sooner. But Locker, despite his athleticism, can't beat you by himself...although he'll try. I doubt Washington will stop OU much, so expect a high scoring game.

sooner what is especially cause for concern for you in Washington is those Pacific Coast officials that cost you a game in Oregon year before last and possible a shot at the NC.

....And we begin over looking aggy once again.

Call it over-looking if you want but I think the A&M game will be more of a reckoning than an actual game.

However if I'm wrong and we lay yet another egg i don't know if I can go on!

OU. Because when all is said and done, it is the only game that really matters. No one ever asks a former player "hey, did you guys beat (fill in the blank) when you played?' They want to know about OU and the bowl game.

Arkansas has won 3 of the last 4 match ups and was the underdog in all 4.

I believe we were supposed to be "skull ******" in each scenario. Furthermore, Muschamp against a Nutt coached team, which still beat you twice, is hardly a realistic comparison against a Petrino coached team. But if you wish to mark wins and losses based on your DC's past performances, well, be my guest.

But hell, this will all play out on the field. I just want to bring to light that your superiority complex has led to you being beat by OU 6 of the last 8 times, A&M back to back, and Arkansas 3 of the last 4.

You might want to bridle your expectations a bit.

You're right. You've only been skullfucked 55 times by Texas, including 15-14 in the biggest game ever in the history of Arkansas football.

Barely 2 pages in and you are already resorting to strawman arguments?

The title of this thread references tough games in 2008. Want to stay on topic or would you rather concede and argue on the merits of separate topics?

Because that was the last time a far inferior Arkansas team, with far inferior coaching staff, waltzed in and out of Austin with a "W".

Point being, if that group of *** clowns can win, I imagine Bobby Petrino and company can too. In other words, Arkansas will be one of the toughest games in 2008.
