I know its a chain, but I really like the French Dip at Houston's. ts so much better when they use real prime rib than that cheap crap.

The meatloaf sandwich at The Kitchen Door is awesome, and the earlier mentioned turkey sandwich with dressing and cranberry sauce makes me happy in the pants

Chicken Salad sandwich from Kitchen door.
King Ranch Lite from Jason's.
Yankee Pot Roast Sandwich & The Reuben from Katz's.
(o.k. boys- let's hear how this isn't a "real" deli, yada, yada, yada......)

Roast beef and cheddar from Little Deli. I think Mrs.TJFord's parents own the joint. Lecretia (mom) is a riot to talk to.

Any of the sammiches at Tam's Deli. I absolutely love that place. In fact I'm eating a chargrilled pork sammich from them now. Simply awesome.

I think there are two locations for the Kitchen Door. I visit the one on Lake Austin near Exposition.

Hot smoked turkey with melted provelone and diced tomatoes. yummmmm.

Chicken salad is the best at the Kitchen Door on Far West. What's the best egg salad sandwich in town?

Delaware's philly's are 100 times better than texadelphias. The chicken parmesan is very solid as well. The corned beef reuben at Katz's is good, but no Delaware.

try a philly at saccones, its as good if not better than delaware and I love delaware. its a little different in that it doesnt have the peppers, but solid nonetheless.
