Anyone else getting a Ric Barnes feeling?
-- Pretty good recruiter
-- A handful of NBA caliber one-and-dones to be subsequently proud of
-- Team plays hard
-- Offensively challenged
-- Not many great shooters and/or scorers
Is it realistic at all to see him back next year? Honestly when I heard this, my first thought was that there's no way he could ever get back to playing at a college level, let alone play at an elite level. Obviously the first concern is just to get better and who cares if you ever play basketball again. But it sounds like there's some expectation that he might still be on the roster next year. That seems like something that would be unthinkable - but it would be amazing if it actually happened.
I would think so, but I don't know if you can ever say treatment finished with cancer. It can be a lot like a Dandelion.Wonderful news. Dumb question but I assume he is in remission and treatment is finished?
minor stuff.Andrew Jones with a fractured toe
Unfortunately not minor with his recent medical history. Broken bones out of now where can be signs of serious cancer related issues or an issue with the body healing from those issues. Hopefully his medical team jumped on it as soon as they became aware.minor stuff.
