Titans Game

Damn I'm hoping the Vince gets the hell out of Tennessee, they suck as a franchise and will never win jack. Vince needs to take his *** to a real franchise Move his *** to a place like New England and he is instantly a NFL QB, Hell move him anywhere and he probably becomes Warren Moon.

If the field is not opened up with deep threats that can also block when called upon, Vince Young is a terrible quarterback. He's not the prototype NFL QB, but his game is on a different level if you let him play it. If the defense knows that the Titans receiver corps is so bad that the field is always 20 yards deep, they can shut Vince down.

The Titans teams is horribly managed.

I watched the whole game and when you thought the Titans' recievers couldn't get any worse, they did.

VY had some great throws that hit guys in both hands and they straight up dropped them or just weren't good enough to make the play on the ball.

As posted earlier, Kerry Collins hit Bo on a screen pass on which the Jags had an all-out blitz on. There were literally only 2 guys between him and the end-zone and they were back deep, hence the big YAC.

Hopefully VY can shake the knee sprain off and try to build off of the win. They play the Bengals next week and given their performance against the Ravens today, I'd say he has a great chance to rebound if he can play.

The fact that they beat Jax speaks volumes. That is one BAD *** defense. The Titans did not do squat in the off-season to get skill pos. help for Vince. I hope he proves the critics wrong. Congrats for the win.

I'm a Vince fan, but let's for sure acknowledge that this Titans playoff team just beat another playoff team, so they are doing something right, even if not tailored to Vince.

My son found the game on line so we watched.

Vince did not play great but also did not play bad either. As mentioned earlier there were some drops and some routes seem to be run incorrectly, at least I think they were wrong cause Vince threw the ball on an out and the receiver went in.

But the biggest problem with the Titans offense is the play calling. If you run between the tackles on first and second down on almost every possession you are setting your QB up for failure. They rarely throw the ball on first down or let Vince roll out. They should be running a one back spread offense to open up the field so Vince can move around and throw or run in those lanes that would be open.

I guess with that defense they can get away with being conservative and winning ugly but Vince will never have great numbers because of it.
