Titans Game

Can't find a way to watch it but VY just threw a TD to Chris Johnson to give the Titans a 10-7 lead. He threw another 20 yd pass to him earlier so apparently Chris Johnson is doing some good. VY is 6/10 65yds 1TD 1INT.

is there some reason titans games are almost never easily available online? maybe i just don't know where to look but back when channelsurfing was working, there were several weeks when every single game was on there except the titans game, justintv has about 6 games, but of course not the titans game. i tried myp2p, but it says you need tvants and i can't seem to get that to download.

is it on a sopcast channel?

Chris Johnson is tearing it up. He looks really really good so far.

VY continues to get zero help from his WRs. The Titans' two best receivers are a RB (Johnson) and a TE (Scaife).

I was checking out scores earlier today and I saw that Tennessee was losing 7-3. I asked myself "I wonder if Vince has thrown an INT yet?" So I clicked.
His stats at that time were:

3 of 6 for 11 yards (1.8yrds/attempt) with 0 TDs and 1 INT

I have to admit that "Pro Bowl" did NOT go through my mind at that time.

However, when I clicked on the Atlanta vs. Detroit game and saw Michael Turner's stats, the words "Steal of the Fantasy Football DRAFT!!!!" did go through my mind. Although my team doesn't have him. (I'm co-managing because I just don't care enough.)

It's good to see Vince has turned it around a bit. He's my favorite UT player EVER (like many other people) and I would like him to get over that hump and no just be a "Playmaker", but a "QB" as well.

I can't watch it either but it sounds like a yawner. 10-7 Titans with slightly under 6 minutes. According to Gametracker Vince is 11-20 for 96 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT. I suspect since it's a tight game the Titans will try to run it and win with defense... that ugly stat line probably won't change much.

Anyone who can watch it, would like to hear their impressions of how Vince is doing. Is Heimerdinger's offense the issue, or just lousy WRs, or what?

Oh and now apparently Chris Johnson is injured?

Vince is horrible right now. I don't care though

Uh...why ya makin' **** up, North Beach?

VY didn't get benched. He limped off the field after his knee buckled on the incompletion to Lendale.

Kerry Collins sure had no problem moving the ball down the field. As good of a player that Vince is, I think Texas fans place too much blame on his coaches or his receivers and not on VY himself

The two starting QBs in this game have combined for these stats:
31 of 50, 278 yards, 2 TDs, 4 INTs, 2 Fumbles

Please enjoy your **** sandwich!

vince doesn't look good. neither do his recievers. vince needs to be vince. i keep hearing that they're letting him do his thing, but whatever he's doing aint his thing.

Collins didn't do anything. He threw a screen pass to Bo on 3rd and 15. Bo did all the work and took it for 40 something yards. Their receivers still suck.

Vince had a couple nice deep balls dropped, and a couple more where any other receiver in the NFL would have been able to make a play on the ball. They just don't have any extra speed to make a play on the ball. One of the interceptions was just an awesome play by the Jaguars DE.

Titans say Vince has a sprained knee.

Vince didn't get benched, he got injured.

He was flushed from the pocket to the right, and threw a perfect pass that hit White in the hands...he dropped it. Collins came in and threw a 6 yard WR screen that Bo broke for a big gainer. A few more runs, and Collins threw a nice crossing route that got them inside the 5.

Vince is not playing really well, but his WR's are horrible. He had several very well thrown passes dropped and his WR's often fail to adjust their routes for a blitz. They suck.

When Vice went down, he spent several minutes on the ground with the team trainers checking the stability of the knee. VY went to the bench and they put an ice bag on it and he stayed on the bench. The hit was ugly. You could see his knee buckle.

They just took him off on a cart.

North Beach,

Why just talk when you have no clue what you are saying?

I would explain what happened, but posters already have. Jeez, some people...

i can't believe this titan team finds so many ways to win with such an awful offense. reminds me of the bears a few years back.

Vince had one bad pass picked and one really bad pass picked. He did have some nice passes that were dropped as well.

The positives were Chris Johnson looks like the real deal, Scaife had a great game, and their D lived in Jax's backfield today.

Overall, a very positive day if you ask me. They definitely looked like a playoff contender.

Man that Titan board is hard to read sometimes. About 10 posters who do nothing but whine how Vince screws up the whole team.

What I got to see of the Titans in preseason the o-line is good at run blocking but pretty bad on pass blocking. How did they protect today? Did the pocket get collapsed a lot?

Thanks,

Why would anyone eat a **** sandwich when some fine eateries are availabe in Austin...I am craving a Texadelphia myself with the nice mustard blend...

The pocket was not great, but workable. The missing part of the equation is the Titan WR's knowing when to break off a route when they see a blitz. Vince's first INT was on a blitz, and the safety was able to get under the route because it was not broken off.

The 2nd INT was by a D-end that was dancing with the O-tackle instead of being cut blocked. Both were bad passes by Vince, but they were bad all around plays by the entire offense.

The play that Vince got hurt on was a dropped pass that would have gone for a big gain. Vince threw several very catchable passes that were just flat dropped. He was better than his numbers today, but not by a large margin. JAX has one of the better defenses in the league, and Vince will not be the last QB to struggle with them this year.

I hope his knee is OK.
