This game is now back at risk

3 players and 2 staffers have tested positive for the virus from China
They tested negative Friday, traveled to Kansas State, then tested positive today.

This is why practice was cancelled
Was not Tom-related

Ironically enough, we may finally have Herman's power run game scheme at hand

Top 3 from one game -- wonder if that has ever happened before?

Todd McShay /ESPN 2021 NFL Draft rankings
(we have not had a first rounder since 2015)

13. Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas
HT: 6-7 | WT: 313 | Grade: 90
Cosmi shows some quick feet for a big lineman and can redirect really well in pass protection. He isn't overpowering, but his hand placement is very good and he doesn't fall off many blocks. As a run-blocker, his angles are strong, and he frequently walks defensive linemen off the line. Cosmi has played both left and right tackle.

32. Joseph Ossai, ILB, Texas
HT: 6-4 | WT: 253 | Grade: 88
Ossai does a little bit of everything, and does it all well. In seven games, the hybrid linebacker has 49 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and 2 passes broken up. He can play off the ball, can cover as an overhang and can blitz. He makes plays when he is turned loose upfield, thanks to good closing burst. And Ossai is instinctive as a pass-rusher and disciplined as a run defender.

Other Longhorns
No. 84- Caden Sterns, Safety
No. 124- Sam Ehlinger, Quarterback

Ossai at 32 is a steal, the rest I wouldn't waste a draft pick on...

Funny thing is, we started with like 9 of our first 11 plays being passes. Key being we mixed it up well - short, medium, inside, outside. And then once they were chasing us all over the field, we hit them with two fresh, energetic RBs in succession.

Am I somehow interpreting it all wrong, or have we indeed failed to make productive halftime adjustments all year long -- until the K-State game.

"all team activities will remain paused on Tuesday"

Since the death or even serious illness rate of 18-22 year olds to the Wuhan Virus is as close to zero as you can get, wouldn't a better idea have been to send all college players to some desert training camp, get them all exposed to the Wuhan and then immune by 10 days later, then send them back out to play the season without issues or delays?

It's the first part of December. How can you have a Newcomer by the second to last game of the season, except to give everyone a participation trophy and a multi-game pass at Chuck E Cheese?

I think it's pretty easy to imagine the Big 12 sitting around the TV in early December saying, "Oh hey, would you look at that, Texas has a new running back. Who knew?"

Everyone looks taller standing next to a midget.

Maybe. But it's not like we were all predicting a 40 point blowout. Mostly I saw a bunch of "We won't even win by double digits" and a few that expected an outright loss.

If only one were immune once one contracted covid and somehow lived....

Impossible. Not only do you die from it, but your sweet Granny 875 miles away gets it and dies too, even if you don't visit her.

Science!

Gotta say, He-Man's looking fat. Not sure what it is that he's wearing - it resembles a shirt but then it's so long it covers the top part of his legs. More of a mu-mu than anything else.

Maybe the pressure is getting to him and he's finding solace in a 1/2 gallon of ice cream.

We are No. 20 in the latest CFB
Not sure why they feel the need to go that deep but there it is
Must be some pretty bad teams out there this year

It was a game after a Texas loss. This board, like all fan boards, has two modes:

Team wins: Yeah boy, we're rolling, bring on (insert next team)!
Team loses: The season is lost, we'll lose every game left, including the bye weeks. The team has quit, the coach has lost them. It's over!!!

Same poll if the KSU was after the W VA game would have had a different result.

Herman was 6-0 against the Kansas teams going in. He's very predictable for wins and losses, and lack of conference championships.
